You will be paddling on a beautiful part of the Maas that forms the border between the Netherlands and Belgium. There is no shipping here. We canoeists are guests in this breathtaking nature reserve.<\/p>\n

Herds of wild horses and Galloway cattle can be admired from the water. The beavers keep the vegetation in the valley in check with their gnawing. \nAan het startpunt van de Kanotocht wat tevens het eindpunt van de fietsroute is ligt in het Maastrichtse dorp Itteren de sfeervolle Brasserie en ijssalon de ‘Brigidahoeve<\/a>‘. De rustieke hoeve ligt op enkele meters van ons parkeerterrein.\n
