Where is the starting point of the canoe trip?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t

You start the canoe trip from the Maastricht village of Itteren.<\/p>\n

You can park on our parking lot on the corner of Pasestraat\/Op de Meer (Itteren\/Maastricht)<\/p>\n

Please do not park in the surrounding streets!<\/strong><\/p>\n

From here it is a 2-minute walk to the boarding point.<\/p>\n

In de straat ‘Op de Meer’ ga je de tweede links de dijk omhoog.<\/p>\n

What is the end point of the canoe trip?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Het eindpunt van de kanotocht is in het dorpje Meers op ongeveer 50 meter afstand van Cafe “de Witte Borstel”, Koevaart 15 Meers (Elsloo)<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Wat houdt de Kano & Fiets combi precies in?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t

You will only truly discover the Meuse Valley when you have experienced it by paddling and cycling.
Stroomafwaarts lekker varen in \u00e9\u00e9n van onze kano’s, kajak’s of rafts. Stroomopwaarts volg je een fietsroute door het maasland van een kleine 10 kilometer en maak je kennis met het karakter van dit wonderschone stukje Limburg.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

What does a day at Kano Maastricht look like?<\/h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Voor de opstapplaats van de kanotocht verlaat je ons parkeerterrein en sla je linksaf in de straat ‘Op de Meer’ en gaat de tweede links de dijk omhoog. (+-200m)<\/p>\n

Brasserie Brigidahoeve<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vanaf 11:00u zijn jullie van harte welkom bij Brasserie & Ijssalon Brigidahoeve die gelegen is aan ons startpunt in Itteren. Hier kunnen jullie genieten van een hapje en een drankje. Zorg er wel voor dat je voor 13:00u bij de opstapplaats bent.<\/p>\n

Let op! Buiten het hoogseizoen is de Brasserie NIET elke dag geopend.<\/p>\n

Waterproof products<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can optionally order waterproof bags in different sizes when making your reservation.<\/p>\n

Of course you can also bring your own waterproof bag or barrel.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Het wordt ontzettend gewaardeerd als jullie de kano’s in tweetallen naar het water tillen. Lukt dit niet, vraag dan gerust om hulp. Eenmaal ingestapt voelen jullie al na een paar slagen peddelen de rust van de Maasvallei.<\/p>\n

The canoe trip takes approximately 2 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n

(the duration of the canoe trip depends on the water level and of course also varies per person.)<\/p>\n

Read below the options on how to get back after the 11km canoe trip across the Grensmaas.<\/p>\n

Canoe & Bicycle combination:
<\/strong>The end point of the canoe trip is also the starting point of the bike ride. Here you will receive a map with clear instructions for the bike route and a Gazelle MPB single speed with back-pedal brake. Then you can start the second part of the adventure.<\/p>\n

The bike tour takes approximately 45 min\/60 min<\/strong><\/p>\n

Canoe & Taxi Combi
<\/strong>If you have chosen the Canoe & Taxi Combi, the end point of the canoe trip is also the point where we will pick you up with one of our vans.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A single ride takes about 20 minutes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We doen ons best om de ritten zo goed mogelijk te plannen, maar dit is afhankelijk van hoe de mensen terug aankomen. Soms is het busje net vertrokken en moet er even gewacht worden. Nu is de omgeving en het terras van Caf\u00e9 “de Witte Borstel” geen vervelende plek om even te wachten.<\/p>\n

Own transport
<\/strong>Je kunt er natuurlijk ook voor kiezen om voor eigen vervoer te zorgen. Als jullie met meerdere auto’s\u00a0 komen, dan kun je ook op voorhand al een van de auto’s aan het eindpunt zetten om vervolgens aan het einde van de tocht de andere auto op te halen bij het startpunt in Itteren.<\/p>\n

De fietsen staan klaar aan het eindpunt van de kanotocht langs de oever van de Maas (Op 50 meter afstand van ‘Caf\u00e9 De Witte B\u00f6rstel’). Hier krijgen jullie een kaartje met duidelijke instructies.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Dan kun je op voorhand een auto parkeren op het parkeerterrein achter Cafe “de Witte Borstel”, Koevaart 15 6181 PL Meers (Stein) Dit is op 100 meter afstand van het eindpunt van de kanotocht.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
