Start 11:00 a.m.
If you choose the morning tour, you will start in the village of Meers (Elsloo) with the bicycle route or taxi ride to the starting point of the canoe tour. You can also choose to provide your own transportation, for example, by placing a car or bicycle at this point in advance to return with it to the starting point of the canoe trip later that day.
Meeting place: parking lot behind Cafรฉ “de Witte Borstel”, Koevaart 15 Meers (Elsloo). This is also the end point of the canoe trip later that day.
Bike tour
You will receive from us a map with clear instructions for the bike route and a Gazelle MPB single speed with coaster brake. It is a leisurely bike ride of about an hour.
Around 12:00 you can already start the canoe trip. You can also choose to take a break along the way or enjoy a drink at a cafe. As long as you are at the starting point of the canoe trip by 12:30
At the starting point you will be given boats, paddles, life jackets and clear instructions. Waterproof bags are available in a variety of sizes. Of course, you can also provide your own waterproof bag or barrel.
Cab ride
The taxi ride departs from the same point as the bicycle tour; Parking lot behind Cafรฉ “de Witte Borstel”, Koevaart 15 Meers (Elsloo)
You will be taken by someone from Canoe Maastricht by van or private car to the starting point of the canoe trip. During busy periods, this is an taxi company.
After a drive of just under 20 minutes, you will arrive at the starting point of the canoe trip in the Maastricht village of Itteren. Here you will be given boats, paddles, life jackets and clear instructions. Waterproof bags are available from us in a variety of sizes. Of course, you can also provide your own waterproof bag or barrel.
Sometimes the instructor needs a little time to prepare the boats, life jackets, paddles, etc. for you, but in No-time you can begin the adventure.
It is greatly appreciated if you lift the canoes to the water in pairs. If this does not work, feel free to ask for help. Once boarded, you will feel the tranquility of the Valley after just a few strokes.
Start 13:00 h
If you choose the afternoon tour, you will start your canoe trip from the Maastricht village of Itteren. Park in our lot on the corner of Pasestraat/Op de Meer (Itteren/Maastricht)
Please do not park in the adjacent streets!
For the boarding point of the canoe trip, walk up the dike in the street “Op de Meer” the second left. (+-200m)
Attention! You are not allowed to park on the dike!

The end point of the canoe tour is also the starting point of the bike tour. Here you will receive from us a map with clear instructions for the bike route and a Gazelle MPB single speed with coaster brake. Then you can delightfully begin the second part of the adventure.
Canoe & Taxi Combi
If you have chosen the Canoe & Taxi Combi, then the end point of the canoe trip is also the point where the taxi will pick you up. You will be brought back to the starting point of the canoe trip by someone from Canoe Maastricht by van or by car. During busy periods, this is a taxi company.
We do our best to plan the rides as best we can, but this depends on how people arrive back. Sometimes the taxi has just left and has to wait a while. Now the surroundings and terrace of Cafรฉ “De Witte Bรถrstel” is not an unpleasant place to wait for a while.
Own Transportation
Of course, you can also choose to provide your own transportation. If you came with several cars, you can also put one of the cars at the end point beforehand and then pick up the other car at the end of the tour. A single ride takes about 20 minutes.
